Cross Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) Testing Toolkit

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has developed a XDS toolkit for testing with various IHE integration profiles. The test facilities are the IHE IT Infrastructure Technical Framework and when used are considered conformance testing against a common reference.

The primary goal of IHE is interoperability testing where implementations are tested against other implementations. Conformance testing always preceeds interoperability testing. Interoperability testing in IHE takes place at IHE Connectathons.
